Hard Questions

The problem humans have that leaves us in need of saving is our own sin. Sin is disobedience from God, it is evil, and it is pervasive (we all do it). Jesus is the only one who can save us from sin because he lived a sinless life, died a sinners death in our place and raised again as a receipt of payment made. No other person, god, or religion has done that for us--not even our own works can save us from our sin. So, it is not ignorant, narrow-minded or bigoted to say that "Jesus is the only way," it is just honest.
